Vitamin B2 is so important for healthy brain function and studies suggest it can be indicated for fatigue, leg cramps, and healthy hair and cell growth.* Sadly, plain riboflavin is what's found in practically every B complex supplement on the market. This form is not active. It's a precursor that has to be activated to "Riboflavin 5-Phosphate" in order for it to help you with energy production in the form of ATP.*
In Mito B-Complex, the biologically active R5P is used!
Vitamin B3 is sedative and calming, because it works as a GABA agonist (similarly to benzodiazepines), but of course it’s a vitamin so it’s mild.* Niacin lowers your stress hormone, cortisol.*
Even individuals with alcohol dependence, conditions of worry and stress, or certain mood problems can respond to the relaxing qualities of niacin.* Niacin (for cholesterol) and niacinamide are not exactly the same. Mito B-Complex contains both of these forms of vitamin B3.
This nutrient in the B complex is a precursor to Coenzyme A, which is also part of your Krebs cycle, and it literally helps you sustain life.* Although a deficiency is rare, it could lead to memory loss due to impaired synthesis of the memory molecule acetylcholine, as well as numbness, parasthesia, adrenal dysfunction, muscle cramps, and low blood sugar.
Pantothenic helps maintain cholesterol levels within the normal range.*
Mito B-Complex contains TWO types of vitamin B12.Adenosylcobalamin (Adeno B12) is used by the mitochondria, the battery of your cell where ATP (energy) is made.* It happens a million times a minute.
The Krebs cycle produces Methylmalonyl-CoA (converted to Succinyl-CoA). It's right there that Adeno B12 works in your mitochondria to to generate cellular energy.* You're reinventing more energy, every split second! When the Kreb cycle falters, it causes DNA and RNA damage (free radicals), which is connected to fatigue and abnormal cell growth.* Tired mito = tired you!
Biotin makes for more youthful, beautiful hair skin and nails. A deficiency of it is associated with hair loss and red, scaly skin so biotin is sometimes useful for people with rash problems.
Biotin also plays a role in maintaining the normal rhythm of your heartbeat.* There is some evidence to suggest that biotin helps manage blood sugar.*
Mito B-Complex contains another form of B12 in addition to adeno-B12 which is described above. It's called Methylcobalamin.* This supports neurological function and the break down of homocysteine.* The CDC has reported that some children with motor and language developmental delays may be B12 deficient! Methylcobalamin deficiency may cause confusion and numbness/tingling. A deficiency impacts the health of your myelin, which is a wrapping around your nerves.*
The active form of vitamin B6 (as pyridoxal 5’ phosphate, or P5P) can help with menstrual pain, as well as nerve pain issues.* In addition, B6 can support a healthy mood by impacting the way you break down neurotransmitters.* Issues and pain with the tongue, lips and gums may occur without B6. Vitamin B6 doesn't work, it has to be converted in your body to P5P, and Mito B-Complex gives you P5P because it is body-ready. You take it, and it works.
Vitamin B1 or thiamine is necessary to make acetylcholine and GABA,* which are your memory compound and sleep/relaxation hormone, respectively. Mito B contains benfotiamine. Benfotiamine is a lipophilic form of vitamin B1 that penetrates your brain neurons about 3 - 4 times better than the plain thiamine!Vitamin B1 also helps your body with alertness, heart rhythm and eye movements. Also, thiamine along with B12, "wrap" each nerve with protective myelin.* Thiamine levels plummet with alcohol consumption.
5-MTHF is a biologically active form of the synthetic B vitamin you have heard of called “folic acid.” I chose 5-MTHF for Mito B-Complex to ensure excellent immediate effects on your methylation pathway and metabolism.*5-MTHF is especially useful for supporting a positive mood and a healthy central nervous system, because it is the only form of vitamin B9 that crosses your blood-brain barrier.* It helps build neurotransmitters in your body to support a good mood as well as myelination (coating) of your nerve fibers.*
Have used Mito B Complex for a while and find it works well for me. Will continue purchasing this product from Suzy Cohen.
Seems to help with chronic fatigue issues. Have been able to do more exercise and work for longer periods since starting this product.
It helps me feel better. The product is great, but delivery is very slow.
My wife and I have communication problems in our legs and feet. The MITO B-COMPLEX seemed to help me but my wife still has problems. I ordered enough for a 4 month supply for her. I am using another B-Complex from here in Canada now. It is expensive to order from the U.S.A. We will see in the 4 month time if my wife gets better so that she will be able to feel her feet again without pain, cold and numbness. Thank you Suzy Cohen for your products as I believe they are the best of the best. We are 76 and 85 years old with no health plan.
This is the only B Complex I will buy...helps withenergy levels.I have a good background in nutritional sciences I am 88 yo and do my own research.I recommend this product and your company to a lot of people....will continue to do so.
