This formula is 100% natural vitamin C which is not typically what you find in other brands. The natural C and the bioflavonoids are derived from cherries, lemons, oranges, and citrus fruits. (Other brands use corn and make it in a lab!) There are 3 main ingredients in this formula: Vitamin C, Citrus Bioflavonoids and Lavitol® DHQ.

The body does not create vitamin C on its own, therefore including C as a supplement, or through diet is important every day. Easy bruising and dental problems are signs of low vitamin C.

The citrus bioflavonoids in this formula exhibit beneficial effects on capillary permeability and support healthy circulation/blood flow.* They work synergistically with vitamin C in this formula and they’re 100% natural.*

Vitamin C 🍊is a potent antioxidant that offsets free-radical damage* and helps make for beautiful skin due to enhanced collagen synthesis.*  It is helpful for tooth decay, gum disease and bone health.*

This is a powerful antioxidant during times of stress.* Vitamin C plays an important rold for cardiovascular function. Specifically, it keeps arteries and blood vessels more pliable and elastic. Furthermore, it has natural abilities to inhibit HMG-CoA reductase, similarly to statins, but much milder. This means it can support healthy cholesterol and LDL.*

In two capsules, there is 250mg natural vitamin C, 250mg natural citrus bioflavonoids and Lavitol® brand of natural dihydroquercetin (DHQ) 20mg. This last ingredient is a potent, highly bioavailable form of quercetin. Due to synergy of these 3 ingredients, you don't need as high of a dose as synthetic ascorbic acid.

Take 1 or 2 capsules daily.

Q. Should I take this formula with food?
A. It may be taken without regard to meals.

Q: What if I can’t swallow capsules?
A: You can open the capsules and mix it into juice or apple sauce, pudding or other desired food/beverage.

Q: I see people recommending megadoses of C. What are signs and symptoms that I am getting too much?

A: The body doesn’t hold vitamin C in the tissues, it is easily excreted. However, megadosing can lead to toxicity. Symptoms include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and indigestion.

    Vitamin C

Like to support Suzy because she gives me so much continuing education on health. The C is a lower dose than the one I had been taking and it also has the Quercetin in it which is something I like to take. Like the fact the Vitamin C is made from citrus products. Seems to work well with the other supplements I take.

    Excellent form of Vitamin C!

While I eat a healthy diet, as a petite woman in my 70s, I do not eat enough to get all the vitamin C my body needs, so I take a supplement. I prefer Suzy Cohen's version as it is easy on my stomach and I know it is a quality product.

Good dose of well tolerated Vit C—for me!

At 70, I’ve started realizing my pelvic muscles are weak. My bladder control has been dicey. Reading about it I began to appreciate that too high does of Vit c (1000mg) was possibly part of the problem. I like having 250mg capsules. It alleviates my bladder of too much C while giving the protection I’ve appreciated from Vit C. Thanks again Dr. Suzy! Another hit scored in the game called “My Life”!
