FAQ

Q: What is a nootrope?
A:  A nootrope (pronounced “noah-trope”) is a substance such as a drug, supplement, or other compound that has the ability to improve your cognitive function, particularly executive functions like memory, creativity, mood, motivation or learning ability, in healthy individuals.

Q: Is Memory Script gluten-free?
A:   Yes

Q: Is it okay to empty the contents of Memory Script or do I have to swallow the entire capsule?
A: Yes, you may empty the capsules into juice, applesauce, yogurt, soup, pudding or the food of your choice, but do not heat it or cook with it.

Q: Can I drink coffee with Memory Script?
A: Memory Script contains a  green tea extract, which is a very mild stimulant so be aware that you might have an enhanced effect if you add coffee.

Q:   Is it okay to take Memory Script with my other medications?
A:  Memory Script is a dietary supplement, and because we are not physicians, we couldn’t possibly know what is right for you as an individual. Please understand and direct these types of medical-related questions to your physicians or other practitioner(s).

Q: Can I take Memory Script with my Alzheimer’s medication, and if so can I take them at the same time?
A: This is a question best posed to your physician. Memory Script is designed to support healthy brain structure and function.* It contains a precursor to acetylcholine. Alzheimer’s medications (ie Namenda/Memantine or Aricept/Donepezil), also create more acetylcholine.  So the combination of this supplement with a medication may lead to excessive acetylcholine in sensitive individuals. Symptoms of high acetylcholine include unusual fatigue, blurred vision, headache, dry mouth, nausea, muscle twitches and muscle or joint pain. Always consult your physician before taking any dietary supplements with memory-enhancing medications.

Q:   Are there any animal-derived ingredients in Memory Script?
A: No, Memory Script is vegan.
